Branson Thermal Processing Systems are designed for heat staking, thermal insertion, swaging, degating and date stamping. This process can be used as an alternative to welding when the two parts to be assembled consist of dissimilar materials which cannot be welded or when simple mechanical retention of one part relative to another is adequate (as opposed to molecular bonding). Branson offers two types of Thermal Processing: Staking and Insertion.
